I didn't find grapes

Like I said, i went to look for grapes but found none.

So I drew them instead, on paper this time. With a pencil.

Would probably dream about them tonight since I didn't get to eat any.

But at least I got a chance to try emphasis on lines a little more. The shading could use work but as starters (and as someone who wasn't much in the mood because of hunger) the shape is the most important.

As with a pencil sketch, the first thing needed is the shape. The shading gives it a little more depth, yes, but a shape can tell you what the object is from the first glance. Not unlike doing silhouettes. The details themselves are within the shape. Simple lines can turn into stems and stalks, and the fruits would not look as much as the ovals they really are.

So I made grapes. Which rhymes with shapes.
